Mary Poppins would be proud

Mary Poppins would be proud

Well! It’s been a hot minute!
Let’s just say February & March where challenging… between appendix’s going pop, sick children, me getting the flu & then just to add a cherry on top my house having a massive leak.
We ended up living in a hotel for just shy of 2 weeks, and I’ve since been dealing with the carnage the leak/flood has left in its wake.
This meant, I was unable to attend Portsmouth tattoo fest - I simply did not have the time to get anything made for the event, which I’m absolutely gutted about still! However I’m also proud that I for once - did not add extra things onto my already full plate.

We do now have this amazing roller sign ready for when we’re able to attend events again from the fantastic Rainworks Designs - cannot recommend highly enough, Joe was so easy to work with and managed to get exactly what I wanted produced. Thank you Joe! We also have these beautiful badges from Rainworks, which will be available to purchase when we reopen in May.

I’ve done some work to the website this month following on from the reveal of the second summer collection ‘Season Of The Witch’ - summer edition, you can now view all the prints on the different collections ready to get your orders in when we reopen on the 26th of May. What’s your favourite print?

This month, our ‘look book’ is going to be more so of a feature on our bags! This time it’ll be our nappy Bags but don’t worry there is a feature coming all about our overnight/hospital bags too.

I use my bag literally every day - it’s incredibly spacious (much like Mary Poppins’). The outer front of the bag is made up of a water resistant fabric, making it wipeable and saving your stuff when it’s drizzling. There’s a front pocket big enough to fit my giant purse in, along with my phone, coin purse & Erics sunglasses. We’ve now also got new zip pulls which I’ve just switched over to! Got one of our nappy bags with our old zip pulls on? Send me a message or email and we’ll get you a new set sent out free of charge 🖤 a huge shoutout to the very talented folks over at the British Stamp Makers for Their creativity with making these amazing zip pulls.

The side pockets are huge, fitting comfortably one of our new thermal cups or drinks cups for the boys. At the back of the bag there is a zip so you can access what is at the bottom of the bag without having to tip everything out.

Inside, there’s 2 internal pockets on each side large enough for Drinks cups/bottles, as well as 2 pockets on the inner front big enough for phones & snacks (told you it would challenge the worlds favourite nanny’s bag).

So, to put it to the test - I decided to pack it for the 4 of us to go swimming for the first time! Inside my bag I managed to fit:

💧My purse, coin purse, hand sanitizer & Eric’s sunglasses in the front pocket

💧Eric’s antihistamine wet bag in one of the external side pockets

💧 Eric’s dummy & a car in the other external side pocket

💧 My umbrella ☔️

💧 2 x adult beach towels

💧 2 x child’s towels

💧 2 x sets of childrens swimming costumes

💧 2 x reusable swim nappies

💧 One large wet bag with 2 nappies & wipes

💧 Swimming trunks

💧 swimming costume

Also, because of the handles on the bag, I attached our snack wet bag to our rucksack and we were ready to go!

I honestly couldn’t imagine using a different bag now! I’m actually going to order myself a second in a different print for if the boys are separated for the day and both need one with the adult thats got them.

There is currently 2 available ready to post, have a look on our ready made section.

I hope you’ve enjoyed a bit of a different blog this month, stay golden ✨🤘
