A place for everything, and everything in its place ✨

A place for everything, and everything in its place ✨

Hello you wonderful humans!

I can’t thank you enough for the positive response my first blog received! It’s been quite some time since I’ve written anything more than an email for anyone to actually read.

The second half of January was a lovely organising time, I finished sorting my workroom (which was very much needed!). We finally managed to record some tutorials on how to tie your Amy jumpsuit in different ways, I’ll get some more of these filmed for you soon.

I then started on 3 products that are almost ready to go out for testing and I’m going to be giving one a spin too! Do you have any guesses? 👀

I’ve got another confirmed in person event, we will be at the Beltane event in Bristol on the 1st of May.

Of course I’ll be taking some ready made products in our Beltane print, here’s some photos of the pieces I made last year in it. I’m thinking I may have to make a pair of cycling shorts in this for myself.

I’ve been brainstorming for a while now for some flatlay and other photo props, as this is something I’ve wanted to work on getting better at doing! Unfortunately, due to the forced changes in the line up this year some discs I had on order have subsequently needed to be changed, and I was drawing a bit of a blank! Thankfully my brain has begun to be a bit more creative again and I’ve got the order amended as well as some ideas on props I can make myself. I’m hoping to have some made to show you in next months blog. Do you have any requests?

I have finally made some booties! I’ve had the pattern since before Eric’s first birthday (I know how bad is that!) and just never had the time to make them. Now I may have missed the boat for Eric, but his little brother Macsen was in desperate need of some! Macsen is a big fan of being in a carrier, but his little toes were getting cold even with 2 pairs of socks on.

The booties are made from scrap material! Another fantastic product to add to Alice Acids goal to get as close to zero waste as possible! With that in mind, they will be a ready made only item at the moment, but you’ll have the option to have grippy dots added to the soles for children walking. They’ll be available in 0-3m up to 18-24m.

This months look book is brought to you by Willow, her mama Stacey is one of my lovely ambassadors.

Here, willow is wearing an envelope neck tee in one of my favourite prints of all time, ‘Celestial Time’ it’s such a vibrant beautiful print! It’s been paired with some beautiful burnt orange knit effect leggings and a pink headband. It’s so easy to pair with different colours as the print has an array.

Next up, Willow is wearing her milk & cookies print tee with some beautiful jeans. A fantastic smart casual look for your wee ones. It’s been paired with a lovely lemon yellow headband, again it’s so easy to pair this statement tee with different bottoms and accessories because you have so many colours to choose from.

Willows tee has been layered with a long sleeved vest, making it ideal for the colder months of the year. Short sleeved tees give you the option of layering to suit the weather. This is our ‘Rainbow Veggies’ print, and mama has made sure this outfit is all about the tee pairing it with black leggings and vest.

Another day, another statement head band and tee combo! I love this ‘you are my sunshine’ print, we actually have this in several colourways (it will re-make an appearance at some point). It’s been paired with some beautiful grey knit effect leggings & a pink headband… what’s not to love!

Thank you so much to Willow and her lovely parents Stacey & Chris for getting this look book together. These outfits are such a fantastic way of you being able to see the versatility in our tees. That’s always my main goal, in childrens & adults clothing alike - for everything to be as versatile and suitable for year round wear as possible.

Our childrens tees come with 3 different neck opening options - Standard, Envelope (as seen in our look book this month), and finally snap neck.

I also, wanted to announce the winner & subsequent name of our ladies dress - the chosen name is ‘Vivienne’ after my idol, Ms Westwood. The lucky winner Lauren has received a £10 voucher to spend on a Vivienne dress when we reopen.

Keep a look out on our socials this coming week… our new logo is about to be revealed 🥹🥹 There’ll also be a bonus blog coming giving a bit of an explanation & inspiration behind the new look.

That’s all for now folks, stay golden and I will be back next month with a mothers day themed look book ✨
